About Closure

Closure was formed when Chris Mauriello began handling numerous voluntary and court-appointed mediations.

We are dedicated to providing Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) services that prioritize fairness, clarity, and collaboration. Our mission is to guide individuals, businesses, and organizations through the complexities of conflict, offering a neutral and professional space to achieve mutually beneficial resolutions. We specialize in turning disputes into opportunities for constructive dialogue and lasting agreement, saving time, resources, and relationships compared to traditional litigation.

At Closure, we believe in the power of mediation to create solutions that work for everyone.

About Chris Mauriello

Chris began his legal career and training as a civil trial lawyer at the largest personal injury firm in New York State. He tried numerous personal injury and wrongful death cases throughout the state.

He also practiced for several years in Florida including serving as an Assistant County Attorney for Palm Beach County, Florida, in the civil litigation division.

In 1997, Chris was actively recruited by a firm in North Carolina specializing in asbestos claims, where he was the head of the premises liability section, trying complex asbestos and high-profile personal injury and wrongful death claims.

Chris has served as chair on many committees, including the plaintiffs’ steering committee in the 2000 Lowes Motor Speedway Bridge Collapse claims.

In 2003, Chris opened “Mauriello Law Offices” in Cornelius, North Carolina, where he continued as a litigator on numerous claims, including high-profile personal injury and wrongful death matters.

He received his certification as a mediator in superior and district court cases in North Carolina in 2002.

Chris applies his background and knowledge of the legal system to foster an understanding of the matter before him and bridge gaps between conflicting parties.
